We all have a desire to learn and grow. At CBE we offer a welcoming and inclusive environment for anyone curious about Judaism, regardless of background or affiliation. Whether you're new to Jewish traditions, want to brush up on your knowledge, or simply want to connect with others on a deeper level, we have something for you!
Here's a taste of what we offer:
Weekly Torah Study (Saturdays, 9:30 - 10:30 am): Join lively and insightful discussions about the Torah portion of the week, facilitated by our clergy and special guests. It is a great way to learn and connect with fellow learners! (Location: Larner Library, also available via Zoom)
Jewish Basics (Open to Everyone!): This class, co-taught by our amazing clergy and professional team, covers a variety of Jewish topics in a fun and engaging way. Whether you're Jewish, "Jewish-adjacent," or just curious, you're welcome to join us. More details to be shared about our 2024-2025 classes soon!
Lunch & Learn (Wednesdays, Once a Month, 12:00 - 1:15 pm): Looking for a stimulating way to spend an afternoon? Grab a bagged lunch and join us for a fun discussion with coffee, tea, and cookies provided. We tackle different themes throughout the year. Check the calendar for upcoming dates and topics! (Location: Larner Library, also available via Zoom)
Evening Learning (Wednesdays, Once a Month, 7:00-8:00 pm): Delve deeper into specific topics on Wednesday evenings. These sessions are also offered in person and via Zoom.

Rabbi Panel Discussion for Parents (Scheduled Wednesdays, 5:00-6:00 pm): Come meet with Rabbi Weitzman for an open discussion about important topics with guest panelists.
Coffee & Conversations with Rabbi Shara (Scheduled Sundays, 10:30 - 11:30 am): Join Rabbi Shara on Sunday mornings for a cup of coffee (or tea), community and conversation with a bit of learning too!
