Join Capital Region Interfaith Creation Care Coalition (CRICCC) for a cleanup at Corning Preserve Riverfront Park from 10 AM to 2 PM for the 14th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.
Beth Emeth will be partnering with B'nai Sholom, Temple Israel, and Ohav Shalom! Join our greater Jewish community of Albany at this event to perform the mitzvah of taking care of the earth.
Volunteers will meet at Jennings Landing in Albany Corning Preserve ,1 Quay St, Albany, NY 12207. There is an entrance on Quay Street which has parking available. Everyone needs to sign in at the registration table at the Corning Preserve. The registration table is a picnic table on the grassy area across from the bathrooms. Equipment, maps of the area and instructions as to how to collect the trash will be given to you at the registration table. There will be signs showing you the way once you turn into the Corning Preserve.
We recommend that all Sweep volunteers bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves, hand sanitizer, and snacks.
This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.
