This is the Shabbat between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, during the 10 Days of Awe. This is a time to reconnect with Judaism and return to our Jewish roots, to remember. This is also an important time in the Jewish calendar to ask for forgiveness and to forgive in preparation for Yom Kippur.
