Join us for a learning experience with Rabbi Mandell! He will be holding four sessions throughout the month of July where he will go into depth about some of his favorite texts!

For this session: “Nag Hammadi Library: Thunder Perfect Mind” We will begin our month of study by looking at one of the most intriguing poems to survive from the ancient world. “Thunder Perfect Mind” is a famous poem of the Nag Hammadi gnostic library from ancient Egypt. This poem was rediscovered in an Egyptian jar in 1945 after centuries underground. “Thunder Perfect Mind” is a poem  spoken in the voice of a divine woman who delights in natural miracles. Come learn about how ancient people wrote beautifully about the awe inspiring power of nature.
