“Nag Hammadi Library: Thunder Perfect Mind”

We will begin our month of study by looking at one of the most intriguing poems to survive from the ancient world. “Thunder Perfect Mind” is a famous poem of the Nag Hammadi gnostic library from ancient Egypt. This poem was rediscovered in an Egyptian jar in 1945 after centuries underground. “Thunder Perfect Mind” is a poem  spoken in the voice of a divine woman who delights in natural miracles. Come learn about how ancient people wrote beautifully about the awe inspiring power of nature.
