Our Religious Action Center's   EVERY VOICE, EVERY VOTE non-partisan effort to Encourage Voting Across the U.S. is BACK!

"Our Jewish tradition teaches: “A ruler is not to be appointed unless the community is first consulted” (Babylonian Talmud Berachot 55a). 

Congregation Beth Emeth will once again participate in this non-partisan campaign by writing postcards to voters to remind them about the important issues facing their communities and encourage them to vote in the upcoming election. In 2020, CBE wrote over 5,000 postcards! This year, there will be 2 types of postcard campaigns. One will send postcards to voters in states where there is a significant number of people of color and racial gaps in voter participation. The second campaign will be to send postcards to young people (ages 19-35) in the Reform movement to encourage them to check their voter registration and make sure they are informed to vote. When young people vote, it creates a lifelong habit and shapes the future.

If you want to participate in this important effort this year, please complete the below form and indicate how many postcards you want to write (the come in kits of 30 postcards). The synagogue will order the postcard kits and distribute them to you this summer to write and mail.
